Chopping boards stacked flat never dry. They sit in a damp pile against the splashback, and the one at the bottom is the one you reach for first.
Why It Works
Boards stand upright and dry
Vertical slots hold each board on its edge with air on both faces. They dry properly instead of trapping water between them, which is where the smell comes from.
Sorts more than boards
The same slots take baking trays, cooling racks, pot lids and oven liners, which are the other flat things with nowhere sensible to live.
Fits inside a cupboard
Sized to sit in a base cabinet rather than take up bench space, so the clutter goes away rather than moving.
Carbon steel frame
Rigid enough to hold heavy wooden boards without splaying. Wire racks bend and then boards lean into each other.
Spaced for thick boards
Slot widths take chunky end-grain timber, not just thin plastic sheets.
